Finally, after a month, our school reopen today, 9th January, 2025. During this break, I rested and spent quality time with my family, friends, and others in a stress-free manner.
From December 17 to 27, 2024, I took on the role of a temporary novice (saramān) for ten days, where I learned about Buddhism. I gained valuable insights into the five precepts for laypeople and the ten precepts for temporary or permanent novices. I also participated in pindacharan (alms collection) in the village alongside other novices. This was my experience during my ten-day stay at the temple.
After returning home, I spent most of my time with my young children, who love exploring the village. In my absence, they couldn't venture out in the mornings and evenings. Only after I returned home, leaving behind my monastic attire, could they refresh their minds by going out.
From today, I'll be busy again until the academic session concludes. I'll need to visit the school daily to monitor the students' progress and will be assigned as an invigilator for the class 10 board exams which will start from second week of February and will be over by March, 2025
This is how my life is unfolding, dear friends. I hope you'll continue to support my blog.
